About Our Talent ID Events

We Make Footballers Talent ID events are designed for players aged 4-8 years old (school years Reception to Year 3). This is your child's chance to showcase their skills and potentially connect with professional club scouts. All events are not for profit, with all profits going to children's hospitals.

What to Expect

A fun, engaging 1-hour session with ball mastery and small-sided games (1v1, 2v2, 3v3).

Parents are invited to watch and cheer on their child.

Footage captured using VEO technology for scouts to review.

How It Works

Professional scouts watch the VEO footage after the event.

Scouts identify talented players and contact parents directly.

Are the talent IDs indoors or outdoors?

Our talent IDs use both indoor and outdoor venues, always check the details of the event so that you can ensure your child wears the correct footwear.

How will I know if my child is scouted?

Scouts will review the footage after the event and contact you if your child has been selected.

Do players need to wear shin pads?

Yes, we advise players to wear shin pads and the correct footwear for the surface. Check your event details to see if the event is indoors in a sports hall or outdoors on astroturf or grass.

Are your coaches DBS checked?

Yes all of our coaches are fully DBS checked and at least one member of staff on-site will be first aid trained.

Can parents stay and watch?

Yes, but we have a “no coaching from the sidelines” policy.

How does the VEO camera work?

We will set the VEO camera up in the middle of the playing area. It will capture all pitches and players for the full event. Every touch, skill, goal and tackle will be captured and watched by professional scouts.
